The SEC announced on 4/1/10 that Kathleen M. Griffin has been named the Commission’s first CCO. The SEC created this position under its Office of Ethics Counsel in an effort to streamline and centralize the oversight of SEC staff and their personal transactions and financial disclosure reporting obligations.
