Nov. 16, 2009 -- The US Department of Labor (DOL) has posted FAQs and Supplemental FAQs about the 2009 Form 5500 Schedule C. The Form 5500 is the document employee benefit plans use to communicate service provider fees and other compensation arrangements paid by the plan. The FAQs provide guidance to service providers who are required to report their fees and other compensation arrangements.
Effective January 1, 2010, all Form 5500 Annual Returns/Reports must be completed and filed electronically. Please see the DOL’s Form 5500 Series website for additional information.
